BOCA RATON, Fla. – Feb. 9, 2007 – Agilysys, Inc., (NASDAQ: AGYS) a leading provider of enterprise computer solutions, including specifically designed hospitality industry solutions, announced Fantasy Springs Resort Casino selected its Materials Management System (MMS), an inventory and procurement solution, to streamline operations, reduce costs and enhance the hotel casino’s financial controls.
Fantasy Springs is owned and operated by the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians. The 250-room Palm Springs hotel casino offers guests exciting Las Vegas-style gaming, world-class dining and entertainment, comprehensive conference facilities and access to a number of renown golf courses.

Callahan also said Fantasy Springs implemented additional MMS applications from Agilysys that are expected to provide cost-saving benefits in the short-term. Specifically, Fantasy Springs is using the innovative MMS Menu/Recipe Analysis Module. “The module allows automatic costing of recipes based on receipts enabling us to determine exactly which items show the highest return on investment,” he said.
Fantasy Springs is also using the MMS Bar Coding Module, which seamlessly transmits data from handheld scanners to the resort’s system. “This allows us to save on labor while reducing revenue loss from inventory errors and shrinkage,” he said.
