Agilysys Capabilities Surrounding IBM WebSphere Remote Server (WRS)

Agilysys provides an end-to-end, next-generation, retail infrastructure, complete with hardware, software, monitoring, management and services.  This offering is centered around IBM's WebSphere Remote Server, a software bundle that includes WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WebSphere MQ, DB2, and Tivoli Monitoring and Management software.  WRS is unique in that it is packaged and priced for brick-and-mortar retailers with geographically distributed locations, thereby enabling retailers to build a flexible, reliable, and sustainable Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Agilysys eases the procurement and deployment of WRS by bundling hardware, services, training, and financing with WRS.  The Agilysys services organization can work independently or with your IT team to ensure that WAS, WebSphere MQ, and/or DB2 are correctly installed and tuned for your applications and infrastructure.  In addition, the Agilysys services organization can install the Tivoli Monitoring and Management software and train your team to deploy application updates, proactively monitor systems, and efficiently respond to store-level issues. 

Also, if necessary, the Agilysys services team can physically install the hardware in the store; and the Agilysys Support Center provides 24x7x365 monitoring and support of store systems.  Finally, Agilysys provides financing options to ensure that the hardware, software, and services fit your budgetary cycle.
