Utilizing Motorola/Symbol® devices, the NextManager solution works like a manager portal, giving managers access to terminal functions and instant alert notifications from anywhere in the store. No longer will managers have to run from the backroom to perform pick-up required notifications, item-overrides or manager overrides. The NextManager solution sends information from the controller to the palm unit and user input is returned to the controller. The NextManager solution also gives managers the ability to view key reports, such as item movement reports and department sales reports, store recaps and cashier performance reports via a Web browser.

The NextManager solution also allows sales personnel access to sales and item movement data as well as corporate e-mail, all while roaming the sales floor.
