Agilysys Promotes Jim Walker to SVP of Global Revenue
ALPHARETTA, GA. — Feb. 4, 2016 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced the promotion of Jim Walker to senior vice president of global revenue, effective immediately.
Walker has served as vice president of sales at Agilysys since October 2014. In his new role, he assumes responsibility for all revenue-generating activities across Agilysys’ global markets. His primary focus will be on leading the company’s global sales activities, creating innovative sales strategies, and optimizing operating performance in the company’s revenue-generating efforts. He will continue to report to Jim Dennedy, president and chief executive officer.
Walker has extensive enterprise hospitality technology industry experience, having previously served as senior vice president of MICROS-Fidelio’s Europe, Africa and Middle East Region and as a vice president at Softbrands. Most recently, he led the sales and consulting groups at Codeforce 360, with a focus on delivering value from enterprise cloud applications, such as Salesforce.com, Netsuite and Insidesales.com. In addition, he has helped a number of companies, including General Electric, Swiss RE and Procter & Gamble, redefine sales methodologies and improve sales productivity.

Walker received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia Southern University, where he majored in business management. He remains an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, having served as an Alumni Commander and member of the Housing Corporation. He currently volunteers with the organization’s Educational Foundation.
