Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort Selects Agilysys Solution Suite to Strengthen Operations Across Entire Property

New Agreement Expands Agilysys’ Leadership Position in Tribal Gaming Market

ALPHARETTA, GA. — July 27, 2016 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort in Jackson, Calif., has selected a comprehensive Agilysys solution suite — including Visual One® PMS, Insight™ Mobile Manager and rGuest® Pay — to streamline efficiency and enhance guest service. The agreement furthers Agilysys’ leadership position in the tribal gaming market for delivering a wide range of hospitality solutions that help customers manage and grow their businesses more effectively.

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, which recently completed extensive renovations, includes a hotel, casino, several food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities, RV park, gas station and general store. The resort wanted a property management system that would strengthen operations, integrate seamlessly with its gaming applications, and provide robust sales and catering functionality. The property also wanted a payment gateway that would safeguard guests’ financial data and reduce the risks associated with credit card acceptance.

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is implementing the following Agilysys solutions:

  • Visual One PMS ─ a comprehensive and fully integrated property management system that offers a wide range of best-in-class features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and more. Its user-friendly screens are laid out in a logical format, with quick-feature icons and drill-down capabilities. The system offers optional modules for accounting, activities, club management, comp accounting, condo accounting, guest marketing, sales and catering, and spa management. Other features include a rate and availability calculator, enhanced guest stay search screens and an online shopping cart.

  • Insight Mobile Manager – a mobile dashboard application that enables hotel managers to view key information about the property quickly and easily from a mobile device. The application contains panels of strategically organized data, including remaining arrivals and departures, VIPs, total guests, rooms, house status, housekeeping, revenue, groups, group rooms remaining and reservation summary. Users simply tap on each panel to drill down and obtain more detailed information. Insight Mobile Manager integrates fully with Visual One PMS and accesses the user credentials and security protocols established in the PMS host to streamline system management.

  • rGuest Pay ─ Agilysys’ payment gateway that enables complete and secure payment processing. rGuest Pay leverages one of the only payment offerings to include: validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), which reduces the potential for malicious hacking and fraud; a Payment Information Proxy (PIP) that secures data arriving via e-commerce interfaces; robust tokenization, which eliminates storage of cardholder data; and a full range of fixed and mobile EMV-ready payment devices that ensure compliance with new card security regulations. rGuest Pay integrates with any POS or PMS product and offers fixed and predictable costs with flat monthly rates and no volume tiers.

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, is only minutes away from area golfing, skiing, rafting and wine tasting. The property includes an 86-room hotel, 24-hour casino, pool, fitness center, four restaurants and more than 9,000 square feet of meeting space. The resort also includes an RV park, general store and gas station. Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is owned and operated by the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians.
