James Dennedy was appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors in June 2009. He served on the audit committee and on the Company’s special committee that oversaw the sale of TSG.

Prior to his appointment as president and CEO, Dennedy was a principal and chief investment officer of a New York-based hedge fund focused on small and microcap investments. Prior to that, Dennedy was president and chief executive officer of Engyro Corporation, an enterprise software company that provided IT systems management interoperability solutions. He served as a public company director at NaviSite, Inc., where he was chair of the audit committee and a member of the compensation committee. He also was a director of I-many, Inc., and Entrust, Inc.
Robert Ellis

Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Robert R. "Robb" Ellis was named chief financial officer of the company in 2011 and assumed the additional roles of treasurer and chief operating officer in 2012.

Before joining Agilysys, Ellis was with Radiant Systems, Inc., where he managed a global team as vice president, accounting and financial operations/principal accounting officer from 2007 until its acquisition by NCR Corporation in August 2011. He joined Radiant Systems as corporate controller in 2003. Ellis began his career with Arthur Anderson and also worked with Deloitte Consulting prior to joining Radiant. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Elizabethtown College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Kyle Badger joined Agilysys as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary in October 2011.

Badger served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Richardson Electronics, Ltd., a global distributor of electronic components, from 2007 until he joined Agilysys. He served as senior counsel at the law firm of Ice Miller LLP from 2006 to 2007, and prior to that, was a partner at the law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery. He received his juris doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Senior Vice President, General Manager - Retail Solutions Group

Paul Civils is senior vice president and general manager for Agilysys Retail Solutions Group. Civils, who reports to Jim Dennedy, president and CEO, is responsible for the strategic direction of Retail Solutions and managing its overall profitability.

Civils joined Agilysys in 2003 through the acquisition of Kyrus Corporation. Prior to joining Kyrus, Mr. Civils was a sales manager for the industrial sector of Info Systems of North Carolina, an IBM business partner. He began his career in 1977 at IBM, where he held various sales and sales management positions. Civils earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. Additionally, he has completed leadership and management training from IBM in classes taught at Harvard University and at the IBM campuses.

Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Larry Steinberg was named senior vice president and chief technology officer in 2012.

Prior to joining Agilysys, Steinberg was a development manager for Microsoft, where he focused on automation, interoperability, cross-platform initiatives, and cloud and datacenter management solutions. Before joining Microsoft, he was chief technology officer of Engyro Corp., with responsibilities for strategic technology initiatives, product development and solution services delivery.
Janine Seebeck

Vice President and Controller

Age: 37

Janine Seebeck is Agilysys' vice president and controller, with responsibilities for all financial reporting and accounting functions for the Company.

Prior to joining Agilysys, Ms. Seebeck served as vice president of Finance, Asia Pacific, for Premiere Global Services, Inc., a global leader in virtual meetings, and, from 2002-08, as its corporate controller. Previously, she was a senior associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She earned her BSBA in Accounting from John Carroll University.
