Southern California Tribal Gaming Property Selects Industry-Leading Stratton Warren System
ALPHARETTA, GA. — July 25, 2017 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Casino Pauma in Pauma Valley, Calif., has selected the Stratton Warren System (SWS) inventory and procurement solution to streamline its foodservice operation. The agreement continues Agilysys’s expansion in the tribal gaming market.
Casino Pauma, which boasts more than 35,000 square feet of gaming space, is open 24 hours a day and hosts thousands of guests each month. The property’s management team wanted a comprehensive inventory and procurement solution that would automate processes, reduce costs and boost efficiency. They also wanted a subscription service model that would provide predictable IT costs, an accelerated return on investment and the latest software updates. After a careful review of vendors and solutions, they selected the Stratton Warren System from Agilysys.
“After an extensive search for a new inventory and procurement solution, we determined that the Stratton Warren System had all the features and functionality we require for our busy 24/7 operation,” said Michael Olujic, general manager at Casino Pauma. “SWS is one of the most reliable and robust systems on the market; and, as a hosted solution, it doesn’t require an enormous capital expenditure. This technology will modernize our entire foodservice operation and allow purchasing staff to focus on the strategic elements of the procurement process. We look forward to using the Stratton Warren System not only to gain insight into our F&B operation but also to make more informed and profit-driven business decisions.”
Stratton Warren System is a full-featured, made-for-hospitality inventory and procurement solution that improves productivity while reducing labor costs and waste. The system manages the entire inventory and procurement process — from requisition to invoice — and provides a fast and measurable return on investment by identifying the most suitable suppliers, reducing labor costs and waste, and eliminating time-consuming and error-prone paper documents. Features of the system include budget tracking, business intelligence functionality, automated email bid capability, multiple par level functionality and flexible mobile options. SWS integrates with most leading financial and point-of-sale software products and can be deployed as an on-premise solution or through a subscription service.
“Casinos and other hospitality venues that want to beat the competition must leverage technology to improve performance, particularly in areas like foodservice where margins are tight and mistakes can be costly," said Rehan Jaddi, senior vice president of customer support and service solutions at Agilysys. "The Stratton Warren System allows purchasing staff to leverage their knowledge and experience in the areas where it counts most, resulting in tighter financial controls, increased compliance, enhanced productivity and more effective supplier negotiations. With the implementation of SWS, Casino Pauma is making a strong commitment to efficiency, cost reduction and guest service.”
Located in the heart of California’s Pauma Valley, Casino Pauma features a comfortable and contemporary atmosphere with friendly staff and more than 35,000 square feet of gaming space. The casino includes 1,050 of the most popular slot and video games, 16 table games, three dining options and live entertainment in the Pauma Pavilion and Red Parrot Lounge. Casino Pauma is owned and operated by the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians.
