(Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative hospitality software solutions and services, today announced general availability of InfoGenesis™ POS v4.4.6 and InfoGenesis™ Flex v4.4.6, the latest version of its point-of-sale software solutions. The new version includes a number of enhancements designed to boost efficiency, increase revenue and improve guest service, including support of Apple Pay™, new mobility options and more.
InfoGenesis is a comprehensive point-of-sale system that combines an easy-to-use terminal and tablet touchscreen application with industry-leading offline capabilities and enterprise-quality configuration and reporting functionality. Designed for multi-unit, complex operations in hospitality environments, the system manages any combination of retail and food and beverage service. InfoGenesis features packages and prix fixe menus, real-time reporting, multi-language capability, and it interfaces with other Agilysys solutions as well as a wide variety of third-party providers. Its advanced security protections include tokenization and P2PE payment processing with rGuest™ Pay, the Agilysys payment gateway solution. InfoGenesis v4.4.6 features a number of enhancements, including:
- Support of Apple Pay and NFC contactless 'tap and go' credit card payments
- An innovative sleek stand for InfoGenesis Flex 11" tablets that easily converts to a portable terminal to address peak volumes and special events
- Support for a range of new USB peripherals, such as cash drawers, scales, scanners and receipt printers
