Discussion Will Focus on Navigating the Payments Security Challenge
ALPHARETTA, GA. — June 16, 2016 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, has announced that Ravi Angadi, the company’s vice president of product management and product marketing, will moderate a panel discussion at HITEC 2016, which will be held June 20-23 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
Angadi will moderate the panel discussion entitled, Navigating the Payments Security Challenge: Get Expert Guidance. In this session, a group of industry professionals will discuss the current and future state of payments technology and address a variety of topics, such as card network rules, data security, EMV deployment, and payment challenges specific to hospitality operations. Participants will learn what is most important when planning EMV deployment and simple steps they can take to safeguard guest data and reduce the potential for fraudulent activity.
Angadi, who has an extensive background in payment security and solution integration, joined Agilysys in April 2013. As the company’s vice president of product management and product marketing, he oversees strategy, planning, execution and sales enablement for the entire Agilysys product suite. He was instrumental in envisioning and launching the groundbreaking platform-based rGuest® Pay payment solution. He works with gateway providers, processors, payment hardware vendors and payment security companies to define solutions specific to hotels, resorts, casinos, foodservice operators and other hospitality providers. His expertise spans the unique challenges related to payment security, including gateways, point-to-point encryption, EMV and mobile wallets.
