Grand America Hotels and Resorts Selects Agilysys Solution Suite to Streamline Food and Beverage Delivery

Organization Implements POS, Payment Gateway, Table Management Applications

ALPHARETTA, GA. — July 7, 2016 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Grand America Hotels and Resorts, headquartered in Salt Lake City, has selected a comprehensive Agilysys solution suite — including InfoGenesis® POS, rGuest® Pay and rGuest® Seat — to streamline food and beverage delivery at 20 restaurants in six locations.

Grand America Hotels and Resorts, which owns properties in five states, needed integrated point-of-sale and payment gateway systems that would optimize food and beverage operations and secure sensitive cardholder data. The executive team also wanted a comprehensive restaurant reservation, table and wait list management solution that would automate reservations, improve wait list execution and enable the organization’s food and beverage outlets to personalize engagement with diners.

These solutions will work together to help us improve operational efficiency, maximize revenue potential and provide seamless guest service from restaurant reservations to payment.”

Grand America Hotels and Resorts is implementing the following Agilysys solutions:

  • InfoGenesis POS ─ an award-winning, comprehensive point-of-sale system that combines easy-to-use terminal and tablet touchscreen applications with industry-leading offline capabilities. Designed for multi-unit and complex operations, InfoGenesis POS features real-time reporting, support for flexible menu types, and multi-language capabilities that drive service flexibility and increase operational efficiency. The system easily manages any combination of food, beverage and retail services, and integrates with other Agilysys applications and a wide variety of third-party offerings. InfoGenesis POS is available as a premise-based or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.

  • rGuest Pay ─ Agilysys’ payment gateway that enables complete and secure payment processing. rGuest Pay leverages one of the only payment offerings that includes: validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), which reduces the potential for malicious hacking and fraud; a Payment Information Proxy (PIP) that secures data arriving via e-commerce interfaces; robust tokenization, which eliminates storage of cardholder data; and a full range of fixed and mobile EMV-ready payment devices that ensure compliance with new card security regulations. rGuest Pay integrates with any POS or PMS product and offers fixed and predictable costs with flat monthly rates and no volume tiers.

  • rGuest Seat – Agilysys’ restaurant reservation, table and wait list management solution that streamlines operations and enhances guest service. Built on open industry standards, the flexible solution can reside on a fixed terminal or operate on a mobile tablet. rGuest Seat provides diner details and preferences to the host and serving staff, allowing the restaurant to provide a highly customized experience. In addition, automated wait list management ensures accurate wait time estimates and easy notifications of seating availability. An online interactive reservations system allows guests to reserve not only dates and times but also preferred servers, tables or sections.
