Agilysys LMS Introduces Enhanced Guest Self-service

During G2E this year, Agilysys launched version 7.4 of its LMS (Lodging Management System®). In the latest release of this award-winning casino property management software, guests can pre-register on their personal mobile device using a text message link. Using mobile pre-check-in, guests can be automatically offered a room upgrade. Such upsells are configured to allow individual properties to offer multiple upgrade options based on the room type the guest has pre-booked. The intelligence built into LMS 7.4 suggests upgrades only when upgraded rooms are available.

Upon arrival, there’s no need to check-in at the front desk. Guests can head to the bar, the poker tables or grab a meal while waiting for the room to be ready. Once they get a “room ready” text message…guests simply grab the room key and they’re all set. At the end of the stay, guests receive an alert notifying them that mobile check-out is available. With mobile check-out, they can bypass the front desk and hit the road.

Enhanced guest self-service brings a frictionless experience to LMS version 7.4, allowing casino resort patrons to use their own device to pre-register, purchase upgrades, be alerted when their room is ready, review their folio detail and check-out. LMS 7.4 brings a strong return on investment by encouraging guests to select upgrades during the pre-registration process, and allowing operators to sell inventory at a desired rate.
