Pay-at-the-Table has been around for many years internationally, and it’s gaining traction in the U.S. hospitality market. There are a variety of beneﬁts to Pay-at-the-Table, and a few important considerations. On the one hand, Pay-at-the-Table brings convenience and security to guests by allowing them to pay directly at their table. On the other hand, proper device management and potential changes to operations, including Tip Privacy, will all play a role in a successful deployment. While Pay-at-the-Table may not be ideal for every operation, we will explore why it is worth a closer look for modern, guest-centric food and beverage establishments.
