The greatest gathering of hospitality gaming professionals in North America comes to a close this week in Las Vegas. As the largest annual casino and entertainment event, G2E 2018 delivered a vibrant atmosphere in the expo hall combined with informative educational sessions throughout the week. Exploring the Guest Journey
Agilysys’ own president and chief executive officer, Ramesh Srinivasan, hosted an educational feature: “Curating the Customer Journey to Drive Revenue”. His presentation of economic and demographic trends provided valuable insight to help participants influence the guest journey with targeted offers and guest preference-based interactions. The session explored the latest AI-based innovations that help manage the guest experience, and covered some new strategies to engage, interact with, and even curate the guest's journey. The session was well attended with no seats left empty and a fully engaged audience.
Extending the Digital Reach
Another G2E Education session titled “Evaluating the Gaming v. Non-Gaming Guest Spend” featured vice president of professional services, Rob Jacks. Focusing on actionable strategies, this presentation dove into the world of younger generations who are less likely to sit at gaming tables The panel discussion consisting of senior level resort operators was centered on spend trends by generation, coupled with the use of artificial intelligence and self-service kiosks to drive non-gaming revenue. The panel further explored how digital experiences help resorts reach all generations and grow their non-gaming business.
