Tim’s role will involve selling Agilysys’ industry-leading solutions, including point-of-sale, property management and reservation management systems in the UK & Ireland market.
A leading provider of software and solutions for the hospitality industry, Agilysys is a well-established player within POS, PMS and payment solutions in America. Over the past year, they have been working to dramatically increase their existing presence in the UK market.
Tim has gained vast experience in the travel industry as VP of Business Development at RateGain, where he was responsible for selling software solutions to revenue managers in the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. Prior to this, he spent a combined 10.5 years as a Sales Director at Travelclick and EZYield, selling Revenue Management, data, distribution and Channel Management in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.
While Tim thoroughly enjoyed his time at RateGain, he is excited to face a fresh challenge with “a steep learning curve”. Tim shared his excitement about utilising his 15 years of expertise and deep understanding of the industry - and applying it to a slightly different project.
Tim said he expects Agilysys “to perform very well in the UK market, as I believe in the strength of the brand which is already well-established in the US, as being a class-leading technology provider.”
