Luxury Mountain Resort Selects Point-of-Sale, Payment Gateway Systems
ALPHARETTA, GA. — Dec. 21, 2015 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Suncadia, a Destination Hotel in Cle Elum, Wash., has selected a solution suite from Agilysys, including InfoGenesis® POS, InfoGenesis® Flex and rGuest® Pay, to streamline food and beverage operations, enhance guest service and provide secure credit card payment. Destination Hotels uses the solutions at several of its other properties, including: The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, N.C.; Quirk Hotel in Richmond, Va.; The Scottsdale Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in San Diego.
An upscale all-season mountain resort, Suncadia offers a variety of accommodations, ranging from a small intimate inn to a collection of luxury homes and condominiums. The resort also includes a conference center, fitness facility, spa, amphitheater, golf course and several restaurants. The management team wanted fully integrated point-of-sale and payment gateway solutions that would optimize food and beverage delivery while securing sensitive cardholder data. The Agilysys solutions met the property's criteria, with state-of-the-art features and functionality that will help Suncadia provide seamless service and offer an exceptional guest experience.
"We have a large and diverse property and wanted technology that would streamline food and beverage delivery across the entire resort," said Josh Brace, director of business applications at Destination Hotels. "InfoGenesis and InfoGenesis Flex offer an ideal combination of fixed and mobile point-of-sale solutions that deliver comprehensive functionality, yet offer maximum flexibility, while rGuest Pay reduces the risks associated with credit card acceptance. Together, the Agilysys solutions offer the total package we need to strengthen our F&B operation and enhance our market position as a premier destination resort."
Suncadia is using the following solutions from Agilysys:
- InfoGenesis POS - a comprehensive point-of-sale system that combines an easy-to-use terminal and tablet touchscreen application with industry-leading offline capabilities. Designed for multi-unit and complex operations, InfoGenesis POS features real-time reporting, support for packages and prix fixe menus, and multi-language capabilities that drive service flexibility and increase operational efficiency. The system easily manages any combination of food, beverage and retail services, and integrates with both other Agilysys next-generation solutions and a wide variety of third-party providers.
- InfoGenesis Flex - Agilysys' mobility solution that offers full point-of-sale functionality delivered on a convenient tablet device. InfoGenesis Flex provides signature capture, adaptable kitchen and receipt printing for large service areas, and a feature-rich mobile experience for foodservice operations. The solution is designed to keep revenue flowing and guests satisfied in the most demanding high-volume environments, and its powerful offline capabilities ensure uninterrupted performance, even when Wi-Fi connectivity is inconsistent. Managers also have access to all InfoGenesis tools while on the floor, so they can oversee operations 'on-the-go' and make immediate service adjustments as demand ebbs and flows.
- rGuest Pay - the Agilysys payment gateway solution that enables complete and secure payment processing. It leverages one of the only offerings that includes: validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), which reduces the potential for malicious hacking and fraud; a Payment Information Proxy (PIP) that secures data arriving via e-commerce interfaces; robust tokenization, which eliminates storage of cardholder data; and a full range of fixed and mobile EMV-ready payment devices that ensure compliance with new card security regulations.
"With the implementation of our state-of-the-art POS and payment gateway solutions, Suncadia is making a commitment to both efficiency and guest service," said Jim Walker, vice president of sales and marketing at Agilysys. "InfoGenesis and InfoGenesis Flex will enable the resort to optimize food and beverage delivery, capitalize on revenue opportunities and enhance the guest experience. And, with unparalleled security as a core requirement for rGuest Pay, the property can be assured that guest data is secure and protected at all times."
